• If hand washing, use cool or lukewarm water (under 30°C / 86°F) with a mild, neutral detergent. Turn the garment inside out before washing.
• Gently swirl without rubbing or twisting; do not soak for a long time to prevent color transfer and protect the delicate silk fibers.
• Press gently between towels to remove moisture—avoid wringing.
• Lay flat to dry in a cool, shaded place away from direct sunlight. Reshape gently while damp to maintain its loose, relaxed cut; avoid hanging to prevent stretching.
• Iron on a low to medium temperature inside out while slightly damp, or use a steamer on low setting. Iron with particular care over printed areas.
• Pre-wash or wash separately initially to test for color fastness. Cotton may shrink slightly, while silk requires gentle handling.
• Store in a breathable garment bag, folded or on a wide, padded hanger to support the shoulders and maintain the garment's shape.
