If hand washing is attempted (at your own risk):
Use cold water only (under 25°C / 77°F) and a mild, pH-neutral detergent specifically for silk.
Do not soak. Gently swish for no more than 3 minutes, supporting the garment's weight.
Never wring, twist, or rub. Gently press out water, then roll in a clean, absorbent towel to remove excess moisture.
Lay flat to dry on a drying rack or clean towel in a cool, shaded place. Gently reshape the collar and pleats while damp. Never hang or expose to direct sunlight or heat.
To remove wrinkles, use a garment steamer at a medium distance on the reverse side, avoiding direct contact with pleats. If ironing is necessary, use the lowest possible temperature (silk/cool setting) with a pressing cloth.
Due to the fabric blend, water spotting, shrinkage, or loss of pleat definition may occur with washing. Handle with care to avoid snagging.
